The god I stopped believing.

The god I stopped believing.

Is he who creates and forgets.

I resist this divine being.

Who treats us as lab rats.

The god I stopped believing.

Is he who leaves us to die.

I resist this divine being.

Who laughs while children cry.

The god I stopped believing.

Is he who toys with creation.

I resist this divine being.

Who enjoys random destruction.

The god I stopped believing.

Is he who's angry at the slightest.

I resist this divine being.

Whose love for me is the flightiest.

The god I stopped believing.

Is he who craves for cash.

I resist this divine being.

Who just wants to make a splash.

The god I stopped believing.

Is he who slacks and sleeps.

I resist this divine being.

Whose blessings he selfishly keeps.

The god I stopped believing,

Is he who always nitpicks.

I resist this divine being.

Who views us as nitwits.

The god I stopped believing.

Is he who offers a life of ease.

I resist this divine being.

Who has left us to do as we please.

The god I stopped believing.
Is he who begrudges science.
I resist this divine being.
Who is threatened by Einstein.

I believe the God I serve,

Is present from beginning to end.

Calmly, he guides the earth.

Like a gardener would attend.

He is the astute observer.

Who watches as things unfold.

History may try to decipher.

But the mystery remains untold.

That's the God I am believing.

He is surely worth receiving.

There's nothing more deceiving.

Than to mistake Him for others most undeserving.

Cheerz.
